About ALF Atlas

ALF Atlas collects what owners, operators and lenders need to know about assisted living and memory care in each state, and the numbers behind financing a building. ALF Atlas is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for HUD, FHA, CMS or any government agency.

It is operated by Janover Capital LLC, a commercial mortgage capital markets advisory firm at 6401 Congress Ave., Ste. 250, Boca Raton, FL 33487, (561) 559-4111. Financing inquiries go to Janover Capital at hello@hudassistedliving.loan, and a person there replies. Janover Capital arranges commercial-purpose financing; it is not a bank or a direct lender.

How it is built

A script downloads each state’s facility list where the state publishes one, CDC’s long-term care survey tables, and HUD’s insured-mortgage and endorsement files, then rebuilds every state page. Licensing details are checked against each state agency’s site by hand. Every page shows the date of each source. The methodology page has the details.

What it is not

ALF Atlas is not a government site or a referral service for families looking for care. It is not affiliated with HUD, FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CDC or any state agency. The sizer estimates what published loan terms allow; lenders decide actual loans.
